Ortho Evra® and other hormonal contraceptives may cause retinal thrombosis. Ortho Evra® should be immediately discontinued if:
- There is unexplained partial or complete loss of vision
- Onset of proptosis or diplopia
- Onset of papilledema
- Onset of retinal vascular lesions.
Appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic medical attention should be undertaken immediately with your health care provider if you experience any of the aforemention Ortho Evra® patch side effects.
